Overview

HydrateNow (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a hydration tracking app for iOS. We collect and process data only to operate core features, improve the app, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.

Categories of data

• Account & Purchase: anonymized identifiers, subscription status, App Store receipts.
• App Usage: settings, reminder schedules, in-app events (non-sensitive).
• Diagnostics: crash logs and performance metrics.
• Health Data (HealthKit): Water intake and Workouts if you grant access.

HealthKit commitments

• Health data is used solely to provide hydration features (logging, insights, reminders).
• Health data is not used for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage.
• We do not disclose Health data to third parties without your explicit consent.
• We request only the minimum necessary Health types and you can revoke access at any time.

Processing purposes

• Provide and personalize core features.
• Sync with Apple Health if enabled.
• Process purchases, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
• Fix bugs, analyze performance, and improve quality.
• Provide customer support.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. You can request deletion of app-stored personal data via Support. Health data is stored in Apple Health on device and governed by iOS, not our servers.

Your choices

• Toggle Health permissions in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
• Opt out of analytics in app settings (where provided).
• Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region).

International transfers

We may process data on servers located outside your country of residence. We implement appropriate safeguards where required.

Advertising & Third‑Party Services

HydrateNow uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app.

• What information is collected: device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), approximate location, ad interaction data, and diagnostic information.
• Purpose: to provide, personalize, and improve ads; for analytics and performance monitoring.
• Data sharing: HydrateNow does not directly sell your personal data. Google AdMob, as a third‑party advertising network, may collect and process information in accordance with their policy.
• Opt‑out: If you upgrade to HydrateNow Premium, no ads are shown and no advertising identifiers are collected for ad personalization.

Changes
